I know I am a day behind on the #29faces Challenge, but there will be a day when I get to doodle two faces. It might be today, could be tomorrow but more likely the day after. I am enjoying this project. Today's face is called Imala, I took a different stance I used some printed paper and waited for the Imala's face to jump from the print. A sort of 'paint what you see' project.

Eight Years Going On Eighteen (#2 of #29 faces)
This is face No. 2 in #29 faces. Drawn in pencil and coloured in Promarker pens, and her top stamped with a rubber stamp to try and give a floral fabric look. I think her ears are way to big but it gives her a bit more character!

#29 Faces
Ooh a new project - something to keep me occupied throughout the month of February as if I don't have enough on my plate already - and as I love drawing faces, I thought why not.
So this is face No. 1.

Something Bubbling Over......
Having had a couple of mad weekends, I welcome the week days to take a break and chill out. Too many ideas floating around my brain right now. I think it might be best to get Christmas 2013 over and done with and then welcome the New Year of 2014 with open arms and see what comes along then, also if I still feel the same about the ideas floating around in my brain then.
I have a couple of short stories kicking about in a dark dusty corner on the computer, maybe I'll take the time to finish them off one of these days.
Maybe I'll take up painting again when the springtime rolls around again. When the trees are green and lush and hopefully the sun shines brightly and the warmth that it produces at that time of year is gratefully received after the cold chills of the Winter months.
I want to make this blog page as I've said before into a picture journal, but I've hit a small snag in the fact that I haven't had a camera to use for the last fortnight because I had a trip to London a couple of weeks ago and as I took my camera out of my bag and as it slipped away from my grip, I drop-kicked it across Great Marlborough Street and killed it. I have a new camera now, but I haven't had the chance to venture out and take some photos with it, but I will do and will post as soon as I am able.
Until the next time,

What Berty Did Next!
I’ve decided that I want to pick my blog up again, you know, breathe a bit of fresh air into it and try to revive it and blog at least once a week.
Once a week is better than nothing, because deep down I know that for me to blog every single day of the week will be an impossible task, and I will be seeing myself coming back the other way.
I’ve blogged in the past when I was at Yahoo 360 - gosh those were the days! It was a shame that site closed down, it allowed me to show my love for photography. I do just love a good session with my camera, clicking the shutter at every possible moment, and hoping that there is at least one good shot in there somewhere.
The only time I go out with my camera these days is if we are off out somewhere special or we are going on holiday. Oh yes, and I do take the odd shot of something crafty that I’ve made but that’s about all really.
For those of you who didn’t know me from my Y360 days then you won’t really know of the antics that I used to get up to on my Photographical Expeditions out in the countryside. There are too many occasions that spring to mind but I used to have some good days and then there were bad days and the I hated the days when I got wet. I loved the frosty days but the icy days were the worst - Bambi springs to mind.
I have added a couple pics to this post which have been taken recently but I what I would really like to do is a Pictorial Journal on my blog of the Villages near to where I live in the County of Essex in the United Kingdom. Plus all the other nice places that I get to visit when I am out and about.
Until the next time,

And Now For Something Completely Different
If you *know* me you will know that I like to arty things. About a month ago I found a stamp (rubber) which inspired me to do something just a little bit different. This is my take on the Prima Doll Tags which has been designed by a lady called Julie Nutting (and they are extremely hard to get hold of). This is one of her gorgeous dolly designs. Her dress is made from two layers of real fabric by Liberty of London.
I think she looks mighty fine and cute!
Until the next time.
